Our officers and crew on container ships have served under Anglo-Eastern for long time periods, with an average of 8-14 years across different roles and a 99% retention rate preserving sound knowledge of container vessel operations including preparations for loading, care of cargo whilst in transit, and delivery to end receivers.

Dual-fuel expertise and future fuels

We have built-up noteworthy experience in design, construction supervision and management of dual-fuel vessels. We are actively engaged with over 80 ocean-going dual-fuel vessels and newbuilding projects at various stages of construction which are intended to burn LNG, LPG, hydrogen and ammonia as fuel.

Newbuilding supervision and project management

Anglo-Eastern Technical Services (AETS) provides a comprehensive range of vessel design consultancy, naval architecture, project management and newbuilding supervision services. Having supervised over 500 newbuildings and conversions to date, we have substantial experience across all types of specialized and complex vessel types, and are able to incorporate our dual-fuel expertise where appropriate.

Our Go Home Safe app and Be Safe+ programme help cultivate a proactive safety culture onboard our managed vessels, translating into a 5/5 RightShip DOC safety score for the majority of our ship management units and TMSA score of 3.47.

Training opportunities are entrenched in our day-to-day. We invest in training centres and our Maritime Academy, with skilling and upskilling our crew being a top priority, and our commitment being reflected in a high retention rate of over 95% across our seafarer pool worldwide.
