Types and numbers of gas carriers in our fleet

We have been managing gas carriers since 1989 and have gained considerable experience, both ashore and amongst our sailing staff, with the operation and management of gas carriers. The number of gas carriers managed by us stands at 61, with deadweight ranging from 4,900 – 58,899, and a combined total deadweight of 2,470,656. We cover a range of gas carrier types including: VLGC, MGC, Ethylene and Fully-pressurised tankers. The average number of observations per vetting inspection for our fleet for the last 5 years is 2.29, which is well below the industry average.

Committed talent pool

Our officers and crew on gas carriers have served under Anglo-Eastern for long time periods, with an average of 5-15 years across different roles and a 98% retention rate preserving sound knowledge of gas carrier operations including tank preparation and presentation for loading, conditioning, and care of cargo whilst in transit, and delivery to end receivers.

Dual-fuel expertise and future fuels

We have built-up noteworthy experience in design, construction supervision and management of dual-fuel vessels. We are actively engaged with over 80 ocean-going dual-fuel vessels and newbuilding projects at various stages of construction which are intended to burn LNG, LPG, hydrogen and ammonia as fuel.

Newbuilding supervision and project management

Anglo-Eastern Technical Services (AETS) provides a comprehensive range of vessel design consultancy, naval architecture, project management and newbuilding supervision services. Having supervised over 500 newbuildings and conversions to date, we have substantial experience across all types of specialized and complex vessel types, and are able to incorporate our dual-fuel expertise where appropriate.
