ESG
Foundations of governance
Our transparent and inclusive approach is shaping a better maritime future. External and internal guidelines are thoughtfully established, followed through and reported across the organisation.
Code of conduct
We approach business with integrity. Our ‘Code of Conduct’ outlines our values and approach on key issues while also guaranteeing compliance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organisation’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
Executive involvement
Our ESG initiative is driven by top management through their vision and policies, with active participation from various stakeholders who play a pivotal role in the operation and decision-making process within the company.
Industry collaboration
Our industry faces many challenges that must be tackled together. While improving the governance structures in our own organisation are key, we also see it as crucial to extend this to the industry more broadly. Amongst others, we are certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management standards and are in compliance with requirements of IMO, BIMCO, INTERTANKO, the International Chamber of Shipping, and IMPA-ACT.
